Caxton Grill is one of the few London restaurants to install a Josper Grill, a very high temperature charcoal oven which produces signature dishes of succulent meat and fish with characterful smokey flavours. As well as offering an extensive range of the renowned steaks from the Josper, dishes from the spring menu include Muntjac venison, potatoes, plum, marrow with spring leaves and potato-crusted cod, white beans, pressed potato, baby gem and celeriac.
The Caxton Quick menu is the perfect choice for a time-sensitive business lunch, though a more leisurely lunch is on offer of course. In the evenings, a visit to the restaurant, can be a more elegant affair – pre-dinner cocktails on the terrace, an indulgent dinner in the Grill, a digestif in the Bar and then only a minute’s stroll to the underground – all the ingredients for a night to remember.
